“The Trauma Of…Foster Care”
On 12/13/11, The Greater Lowell Trauma Advisory Group (GLTAG) sponsored a roundtable discussion, bringing providers, foster parents, and administrators together to explore the topic of foster care as it relates to the impact of trauma on children and their families. Below is a link to a written summary of our discussion, including a list of available resources. The mission of the GLTAG is to create a trauma-sensitive community, to support and empower professionals, providers, schools, and clinicians who serve children and families impacted by trauma.
