Tobacco Prevention and Smoking Cessation
The Greater Lowell Health Alliance launched the Tobacco Task Force to raise awareness in our communities about this deadly health situation. Our goal is to educate our community about the dangers of tobacco use, develop and implement a long-tern campaign to raise awareness, and share resources to prevent and help people to stop smoking.
We meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 9:00 to 10:00 am to discuss and develop programs to support this mission. We welcome individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to join us in taking a healthy step in reducing the devastating effect of tobacco use on the health of our community.
