Running Errands with Toddlers

Running errands with little ones can be challenging.  Join us to discuss ideas and ways to plan for errands such as a grocery shopping trip that will make it easier on child and parents. Recommendations on how to plan, what to bring and how to get through the stores with more smiles and less tears.

Human Service Council Fall Webinar! Emergency Housing

The economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in many people being unable to cover their housing costs, and the need for emergency housing solutions is growing more urgent as the weather gets colder.
 
In response to this need, the MMA HSC will host a free Zoom webinar discussing emergency housing on November 12, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
 
During this webinar participants will hear about state-wide emergency shelter programs and eviction prevention efforts, as well as regional emergency rental assistance. Speakers will include Elisa Bresnahan with the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development discussing state-level efforts, and Elizabeth Valenta with the Regional Housing Services Office discussing regional efforts.
 
The program will also feature a legislative update with MMA Senior Legislative Analyst Brittney Franklin.
 
This meeting will be conducted as a Zoom Webinar. The webinar is free, but you must register in advance. Be sure to register at least 60 minutes prior to the start of the webinar.
