The Healing Benefits of Acupuncture and Meditation

Beginning Friday May 6, 2016, The Living Room will be holding group discussions for anyone of trans* or gender diverse to join them for an introduction to the healing benefits of acupuncture, acupressure, essential oils, meditation, and group discussion. The group meetings can also act as an opportunity for community connection. The cost is $20/session. Space is limited- please contact either Aiden Seraphim, LIC. Whittier Health invites you to attend an evening seminar and dinner: “Understanding the utilization of Neuropsychology for Patients with Psychiatric Disorders.”

This seminar will be presented by Buck H. Woo, Ph.D. Director of The Center for Neuropsychology, Whittier Pavilion Outpatient Clinic.

Topics include: depression and anxiety associated with specific deficits in cognition, change in cognition associated with alcoholism and other substance abuse, and wellness and rehabilitation effectively used in cognitive recovery.

Tewksbury’s Annual Bike Safety Rodeo & Wellness Fair

Sponsored by the Tewksbury Police Department and with collaboration from the Tewksbury Health Department, the town’s annual bike safety rodeo will be even bigger with a Wellness Fair including many resources from the community. This event welcomes people of all ages and will have a bike safety check, DJ dancing, and helmet decorating and contests!
