Attendees will be meeting with the co-chairs of the LGBTQ subcommittees to discuss our next events, and potential areas of focus for said events.

Marijuana Sub-Committee Meeting

The GLHA marijuana sub-committee will be conducting their first meeting of the new year. The sub-committee will continue to discuss what role they play in recent transitions regarding marijuana legalization. Topics such as their role in consultations, advocacy, education and impact will be discussed at length.

GLHA LGTBQ Subcommittee Meeting – 2017 PRIDE Planning

The next Greater Lowell Pride 2017 planning meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 12 at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus, 2nd Fl. Board Room (1 Hospital Drive, Lowell) from 12:00-2:00pm. If you plan to attend, kindly let me know as lunch will be provided.

Regional Curriculum Subcommittee

The Regional Curriculum Subcommittee focuses on providing age- appropriate evidence based education to youth in grades K- 12. Currently, members of the SUP Task Force are advising on the selection and adaptation of evidence- based curricula to be implemented in the cities and towns.
