Past Initiatives

Past Initiatives:

  • The City of Lowell Planning Dept attended our October 2021 meeting to discuss the City’s approach for Affordable Housing in the city of Lowell. Members of the Planning Department shared with the task force the barriers the city is facing, as well as some ideas to assist with the lack of affordable housing for families.
  • The task force, responded to the increased need for online information and resources during the pandemic, prioritized the maintenance and utilization of WellConnected.net, providing timely updates to the WellConnected.net team and ensuring that the information
was accurate and up to date for service providers and community members.
  • On December 13th the Task Force hosted a “WellConnected.net” discussion/training for local providers/agencies at Lowell General Hospital. Over 30 community partners attended to learn about this new platform supported by Lowell General Hospital. WellConnected.net is an online platform for resources. Essentially this is an online resource hub for the entire Merrimack Valley. Assisting both community members and community partners navigate resources for self or client.
