Greater Lowell Health Alliance Distributes Over $375,000 in Essential Items Across Greater Lowell in 2025

Lowell, MA — In 2025, the Greater Lowell Health Alliance (GLHA) distributed more than $375,000 worth of clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and toys to shelters, schools, food pantries, and community organizations throughout Greater Lowell, helping to meet critical needs for children, families, and individuals across the region.

These large-scale distributions were made possible through strong partnerships with local organizations, most notably Provision Ministry, whose generosity and ongoing commitment played a vital role in ensuring essential items reached community members in need. Without the support of Provision Ministry, this level of impact would not have been possible.

“Access to basic necessities like clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and toys is foundational to health, dignity, and overall well-being,” said Kerrie D’Entremont, Executive Director of the Greater Lowell Health Alliance. “We are deeply grateful to Provision Ministry for their generosity and partnership. Together, we are able to respond to real needs across Greater Lowell and support families, children, and individuals with resources that make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.”

Through coordinated efforts with shelters, school districts, pantries, and community-based organizations, GLHA ensured that items were distributed efficiently and equitably across the region. The in-kind support included seasonal clothing, winter coats, footwear for children and adults, personal care and hygiene supplies, and toys for children—helping organizations respond to immediate needs throughout the year.

These efforts align with GLHA’s broader mission to advance health equity by addressing social determinants of health and strengthening community systems of support. By leveraging partnerships and community collaboration, GLHA continues to improve access to essential resources and promote healthier outcomes for all residents of Greater Lowell.
