TDOR acts to bring community and global attention to the continued violence endure by the transgender community.
Join us November 17th at the Lowell Community Health Center, at 5:30pm. There will be a walk to City Hall and the rally/vigil beginning at 6:10pm.
You may choose to join us just at City Hall if you prefer. We will be walking back to the Health Center at 7pm and there will be a light reception afterwards.
This event is family friendly, free and open to the public.

The Massachusetts Youth Summit on Opioid Awareness will educate young people, teachers, and parents about the growing opioid epidemic and encourage healthy decision-making.
The Summit will feature:
- A showing of If Only, a short film co-produced by James Wahlberg with support from Recovery Centers of America and Millennium Health.
- A keynote speaker who will share their personal story of addition and recovery
- Student engagement in discussions about the critical role they can play in combating opioid abuse.

About the Presenter: Amy McCabe, RN, BSN, is the pediatric and newborn educator for Lowell General Hospital. She is a certified childbirth educator and has been a nurse in the Maternal Child Health field for nearly 20 years with a focus on newborn medicine.
