The Healing Benefits of Acupuncture and Meditation

Beginning Friday May 6, 2016, The Living Room will be holding group discussions for anyone of trans* or gender diverse to join them for an introduction to the healing benefits of acupuncture, acupressure, essential oils, meditation, and group discussion. The group meetings can also act as an opportunity for community connection. The cost is $20/session. Space is limited- please contact either Aiden Seraphim, LIC. Community Health Needs Assessment Advisory Council

Lowell General Hospital, in collaboration with the Greater Lowell Health Alliance and UMASS Lowell researchers and students will begin working on the 2016 Community Health Needs Assessment. Please join us for the first meeting of the Advisory Council.

Crafting a Solution from the Inside: A Public Policy Dialogue Forum

District Attorney Marian Ryan is pleased to sponsor a community meeting in partnership with the Framingham Youth Development Collaborative. The meeting will be a Public Policy Dialogue Forum.

Crafting a Solution from the Inside: A Public Policy Dialogue Forum will include insight from medical experts and those in recovery. The event will be moderated by District Attorney Ryan.

Sexual Abuse Parent Support Group

The Center for Hope and Healing will be hosting a confidential support group every Thursday for parents seeking more information regarding childhood survivors of sexual abuse.

Dual Diagnosis Group

Each Monday, the Dual Diagnosis Group will be meeting to address the needs of, and provide support to, those struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues.

Hosted by the Mental Health Association of Greater Lowell.
