GLHA Mental Health Media Campaign Focus Group

Be Part of a NEW Media Campaign
The Greater Lowell Health Alliance’s Mental Health Task Force is working on the creation of a media campaign that highlights the importance of taking care of your Emotional Health and Well-being.  This campaign will be inclusive of the diversity that we take pride in here in Greater Lowell.
Come be part of the campaign and help us fine tune our messaging.  You don’t need to be part of the task force, everyone is welcome!  Did we mention there will be FREE coffee!

Elder Services Speaker Series – Andre Dubus III

Andre Dubus III, local best-selling author, will speak about the path that led him to become a writer – one that pulled him out of a life of violence and allowed him to find his voice through the arts. Andre’s reflections and observations of coming of age gives a compelling and compassionate view of the social determinants his family faced: poverty, isolation, housing, lifestyle and environmental risks. Andre is the author of Gone So LongDirty LoveTownieThe Garden of Last Days andHouse of Sand and Fog (an Oprah Book Club pick and a finalist for the National Book Award).
